ISTRM (the International Society of Short-Term Rental Management) is committed to protecting your personal data and being transparent about how we use it. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and your rights under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

If you accept cookies, we collect anonymised analytics data via Google Analytics 4, including pages visited, time on site, and general geographic location. We do not collect any personally identifiable information through analytics.
When you register interest via any form on our website, we collect your name, email address, and any optional information you provide such as your organisation or role. This is stored securely and used only to follow up on your enquiry.
When you purchase a membership or the CSRM programme, we collect your name, email address, payment information (processed by Stripe — we do not store card details), and programme progress data.
We do not sell, rent or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
We retain member and learner data for as long as your membership or programme access is active, and for up to three years after it lapses. Analytics data is retained for 14 months in Google Analytics. Interest registration data is reviewed and cleared periodically.
